By Kevin Hinton I'd like to ask you a question. Can you name one (1) other health practise - other than Nature Cure
- that states their philosophy so succinctly and in accordance with
the basic law of cause and effect? I don't think so! Nature Cure stands alone with its declaration that health is
attained when; - Causes are removed. - Correct biological principles of nutrition, air, water, sunlight,
rest, exercise and spinal care are applied and, - Rest is provided to allow the organism to perform its metabolic
function of healing Nature Cure, is then, the only alternative to all other health
practices. All other modalities will ask you to participate in some form of
medicinal adjunct - whether it be chemical, mechanical, botanical,
spiritual or whatever. The practitioner of any other healing art will ask you to
participate in something or other that is supposed to have more
power than the innate function of the body. This power will enter into and cause the body to heal. Wrong! - there is no thing that makes the body do anything. The body will respond to that which is presented to it - but make
no mistake - there is no power outside of the body that makes it
heal itself. All human tissues have the biological function and capability of: - Reproduction - Response - Repair If this is so - we do not need to 'take anything' or 'do anything'
to the body to make it do what it is designed to do. Whew! - that's hard isn't it? Why? - because if the word gets out that the body is designed to
heal itself - what would happen to the multi-trillion $$$ industry
that lives on the lie of medication? Of course - it would die out - and perhaps that would be all the
better for organic life. Keep on thinking... Kevin Hinton is a renowned Natural Health Educator & Advocator who has assisted a broad range of people to reinvigorate their lives through common-sense Natural Health practices.

Surviving a Break-up
By Joanne B. Parrotta So youve just gone through a devastating break-up. My heart goes out to you. There is nothing quite as painful as being dumped by someone you thought was the One. I know youre probably feeling like your heart has been ripped out and stomped on and that your hopes and dreams have been shattered. Do what you have to do (within reason, of course) to grieve this losscry, get angry, punch your pillow, throw darts at your exs picture. One thing you should not do, however, is visit, phone, email, or text you ex. You should have no contact whatsoever. Accept the fact that it is over and make a clean break. Keep your dignity intact. Trust me on thisin the long run youll be glad you did. Thoughts of revenge may be going though your head, but please, dont act on them. Dont spread rumours, dont betray old secrets, and dont date or make out with his/her best friend to get even. Never resort to behaviour that you will regret in the future. Always act with class and remember that the best revenge is for your ex to see that you are doing just fine without him/her. Youve moved on and are happy. Keep in mind that just because someone has broken up with you, it doesn't mean he or she no longer cares about youit just means he/she no longer wants a relationship with you. Its very likely that breaking up with you was just as hard on him/her as it was on you. If you take revenge, any affection that this person feels for you could turn into hatred, and any chance you may have to re-establish a relationship (even if its just as friends) will be shattered. Have a pity party if you must, but do it in private. Then get off the couch, wipe those tears, and move on. Its wise to hold off on romantic relationships for a while. Give yourself some time to heal from this relationship. Work on rebuilding your life and rekindling old friendships you might have neglected when you were in the relationship. You may not realize it yet, but a new life has just opened up for you. While right now your break-up may seem negative, it really was all for the best. You have just been given another chance to find your Mr. or Ms. Right. Al the best, Joanne B. Parrotta Author of A Matter of Destiny Settling for second best is never an option! American Indian Genealogy - Dawes Final Rolls
By Bluedolphin Crow Aanii and Welcome This week I am going to talk about the Dawes Final Rolls. If you are researching Native American Genealogy it is imperative that you use this information. So without further a due, lets jump in. President Grover Cleveland appointed The Commission to the Five Civilized Tribes in 1893. The Commission was to negotiate land with the Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw and Seminole tribes. This commission was commonly called the Dawes Commission, after Henry L. Dawes the chairman. Under the Dawes Commission tribal members were entitled to an allotment of land in return for abolishing their tribal government in favor of recognizing federal laws. Before any of the tribal members could receive land, they had to first apply and be deemed eligible by the Commission. In 1896 the first application process began. Unfortunately, it was declared invalid. So in 1898 the Dawes Commission started all over again by having people reapply, even if they had already applied in 1896. The result of this has come to be known as the Dawes Rolls and the commission accepted applications from 1898 to 1907. In 1914 an Act of Congress accepted a few addition people. NARA the National Archives & Records Administration lists five steps you should take if you want to discover if your relative is on the Dawes Rolls. Step One: Know the individuals name and their tribe. Step Two: Check to see if the persons census card is online. Step Three: Use the online index to the Dawes Final Rolls Step Four: Look the person up in the Final Rolls online here. Step Five: Part One: If you found your ancestor in the Dawes Rolls then you will continue your Native American Research Online. Next you will order copies of the records, then get access to the Microfilm. After that you can hire a researcher, visit NARA and/or contact NARA. Step Five: Part Two: What to do if you did not find your ancestor in the Dawes Rolls First, you would check the microfilm at the Bureau of Indian Affairs for those who applied to the Dawes rolls, but were later rejected, stricken or judged doubtful for enrollment. This microfilm can be viewed at the NARA Fort Worth facility. Second, contact the National Archives facility in Fort Worth, and request that they check the 1896 Dawes applications. Many who applied during 1896 did not reapply in 1898 after the 1896 rolls were declared invalid. You can reach the National Archives facility in Fort Worth at: (817) 831-5920. After this last step there are other steps you can take. You should contact NARA at the number above or go to their website: http://www.archives.gov/research_room/genealogy/dawes/main.html#why to find your final options. Ok thats it for today. If you have any questions and/or comments you can contact me at: Until next week Miigwech and mino-nibaan.

Cypher Stent Lawyer - Drug Coated Stent Warnings - Heart Stent Injury
By Todd Going Cypher Stents Allegedly Linked to Fatalities A Cleveland Clinic study released findings on November 29, 2006 that indicated that the drug-coated Johnson & Johnson Cypher Stent is four to five times more likely to cause serious cardiovascular problems than are non-coated stents. Stents are mesh wire tubes that doctors used to hold open arties after angioplasties. The Cypher Stent, approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2003, emits a drug called Sirolimus that prevents reclosure of the artery after the angioplasty balloon clears out any blockage. Some doctors believe that the drug works by preventing the regrowth of the coating that grows in the blood vessel around the stent that can contribute to further clots. There are over 800,000 angioplasties performed in the United States each year to remove blockages in arteries. Between 15 and 30 % of all these procedures will become clogged again, requiring further angioplasties or other procedures. The FDA began to receive complaints about the Cypher Stent soon after it was released. It has been allegedly linked to hundreds of serious cases of blood clots, thrombosis, strokes, and heart attacks, and 60 people have died due to complications caused by the Cypher Stent. In fact, there were more than 290 people that suffered blood clot-related complications within the first 30 days after they received the devices. Furthermore, the FDA also received more than 50 reports of severe allergic reactions from the Sirolimus coating on the stent. Some people needed serious medical or surgical intervention due to these reactions, and some people even died due to complications. There are thousands of potential people affected by this defective medical device, but it is unknown how many people will suffer serious and potentially life-threatening complications. People with Cypher Stents should consult their doctors immediately and discover their options to protect their safety. Blind Dates Can be Very Adventurous - or Not
By Keith Renninson I had a blind date of sorts last week; they are a very adventurous activity. Youve got to love people and be prepared for most anything to happen, because it often does. This lady was nice, engaged with life, lively and entertainingjust not my type. So, as I drove home I examined what "my type" is, and as you might expect, I had many traits and characteristics Id love to find in one female human. Being 58, my list has changed over the few years, no longer do I desire the party girl, the runway model or the driven doctor/lawyer/CEO. I guess you could say I've settled down some. But then my desires in the physical realm are still the same as they were in my twentiesdoes that ever change in men? I dont think so, and realistically, I hope not. Im a fit man, I ski, I race bicycles, I love to hike in the mountains and snorkel in the sea. So, it would follow that Im after an active woman who can be a cowgirl, ski bum, endurance cyclist and still want to get dressed to the nines and go to the opera, theater or just a really nice dinner out. Blind dates are a way for friends of single friends to help out in this endeavor. And God love them, because they do occasionally find someone that fits what youre after. Unfortunately, more often than not, they dont. Its not their fault, they know both people and see them through loving, friendly and helpful eyes. There is absolutely no way they can see what you feel and desire. What no one else can see or experience is the true adventure of chemistry. Chemistry is that wonderful energy that bounces back and forth between two people messing with hormones, libido, and our hearts. We have all experienced it, and we know it when we feel it, and we want it again. Scientists have isolated the areas of the brain that get excited when chemistry is introduced; they can see the cranial juices light up sending out signals all over the place. The bummer is most scientists arent matchmakers. If youre single and looking, dont turn down a blind date, yes, they can be scary and fun, but the alternative is watching old reruns of Law & Order for the 23rd time while eating potato chips and sharing a beer with your dog. (Oh, by the way, if you run across any scientific matchmakers specializing in chemistry, let me know.) Anyway you look at it; its fun to ponder. Keith E. Renninson is a motivational speaker and co-author of the popular parenting tool and illustrated storybook "Zooch the Pooch, My Best Friend". Through the 1990's with much self-examination, academic study, bicycle racing, and mountain climbing, he discovered a renewed zest of life, which included a love of metaphysics, philosophy, humor, and writing and speaking. As Keith says, "Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue...it's all in what you make of it." Creative Marketing: Just Your Style
By Sara Pedersen You've enlisted some of the traditional marketing
methods to sell your services: you received some
publicity in your local paper; your website is up and
running; and you're listed in the Yellow Pages. So
why isn't the phone ringing off the hook? Maybe
you're marketing strategies need to get more creative! Creative marketing will allow you to attract new
clients, as well as remind past clients that you're still
around. You'll also stand out from the other
professionals in your field: creative marketing gets
you noticed, enticing people to want to know more about
you! And the beauty of creative marketing is that
there is no one right way to do it. Methods that
work -- and feel comfortable -- for you might not
work for others. Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices
flowing: Staying In Touch Rather than relying solely on the phone to stay in
touch, utilize mail and e-mail. It's fast, easy, and tells
your clients that you took the extra time to think of
them. Send birthday cards on your clients' birthdays, or
better yet, send an anniversary card to celebrate the
date when you first worked with a client. Another great option is to send postcards or
newsletters filled with tips. This establishes you as
an expert in your field. Be sure to include an update
of your current services or any special offers you
have. Give-Aways that Work Everyone loves a little gift now and then. Promotional
give-aways can boost your business by showing
appreciation and offering a reminder that you're ready
to help. Steer clear of pens, notepads, and keychains. Your
clients have enough of those. Brainstorm with friends
and your local advertising specialties representative
to find affordable, unique ideas that represent you
and your business. (Look in the Yellow Pages under "Advertising Promotional
Products" for companies near you.)
For
example, at Time to Organize,
my company found an affordable, colorful travel alarm
clock that can double as a desk clock. Imprinted with
my logo and website address, it's a gift that was
useful to my clients and beneficial to my business.
Remember that memorable and useful items are most
appreciated. Getting Visibility Try to draw a little attention wherever you go.
Depending upon how shy (or flamboyant) you are,
you might try something as simple as wearing your
nametag in public to driving around town with
magnetic signs attached to your vehicle that tout your services. Don't be shy about
tooting your own
horn. If you tend to downplay your strengths, fearing
you'll sound brazen, squash that feeling now! As a
small-business owner, you don't have a marketing
department, so you must be your own loudest advocate!
Making others aware of your products and services is
NOT bragging. I hope these ideas jump start your creative thought
process. I would love to hear from YOU about your
creative marketing strategies. What worked best?

Top Ten Bridal Gifts
By Richard Romando When looking for the perfect gift for a bride, you try to strike a balance between what she wants and what she needs. What makes the job harder is that you have to pick from hundreds of gift ideas from her bridal registry. However, there are some websites that can help you decide by providing information on the top ten things that brides want. Below are some of the most common items mentioned on these websites. Wedding Gift Ideas Some of the most famous types of gifts are honeymoon gifts. One good idea is to give the couple a guidebook or a travel book of the place where they will be spending their honeymoon. This gift will help them find their way around and visit spots that they should not miss. Another popular gift choice is lingerie, which will surely make any bride even more beautiful and keep the sparks flying during the wedding night. A popular choice for functional wedding gifts is a set of holiday decorations that can help the future wife make their first Christmas or holiday together more memorable. Another gift idea is a compilation of the engagement memories of the couple, which may come in the form of an album or a scrapbook. This will help the bride keep the memories of her shower, engagement party, and other events alive. A similar idea is to give the bride a "history" of the groom's family. A family tree or an album will capture the story and make her know her husband's family better. Gift Ideas for Before the Wedding You may also choose to give the bride an advanced wedding gift that can help her throughout the planning of her wedding. A gift that would be very helpful is a digital camera that can help the bride take pictures of her wedding gown, the shower and other important aspects of the preparation. Another gift that she would really appreciate is a gift certificate to the spa, where she can unwind from the stress of planning a wedding. Another useful gift that can help her release the stress is a book that will make her laugh. You could also have her new name monogrammed on different items like towels or diaries. Lastly, it is very important to remind the bride that getting married will not change who she is, and giving her gifts that you would have given her if she was not getting married can help her realize and affirm this. These gift ideas can help you find that elusive bridal gift that the bride will surely appreciate and remember. Bridal Registry provides detailed information on Bridal Registry, Online Bridal Registry, Bridal Shower Registry, Bridal Registry Ideas and more. Bridal Registry is affiliated with Bridal Shops.
